Jeannine Williams
Jeannine is a British Wheel of Yoga teacher, and has been teaching for more than thirty years. During this time, she has explored many styles and traditions, but several years ago she found a practice that now inspires all her teaching, and reflects her on-going studies with international teachers in the style of Vanda Scaravelli.
The practice places more emphasis on process in a way that educates the use of deeper muscle tissues rather than relying on surface muscles to accomplish postures. It is an approach that is characterised by slowly preparing the body for each posture through a gradual progression of intermediate steps. Once the basic philosophy is mastered, students generally feel greater ease in their practice.
