The Old Barn

About the Old Barn

Ann and John founded The Old Barn in June 2008. The building was previously owned by the European School of Shiatsu and other occupants of the barn through its history have included the Marlborough branch of the Red Cross and the amateur dramatics society!

We fell in love with the barn and its peaceful location as soon as we first visited it. We were drawn to the calm and quiet of the building and its surroundings which contrast dramatically with the bustling world a stone's throw away on the High Street.

The Old Barn is now a thriving centre providing yoga, pilates and complementary therapies. More than 200 clients regularly enjoy a full timetable of classes taught by seven professional yoga and pilates teachers and treatments delivered by a team of eight professional therapists.

Steeped in history, Marlborough is a market town with its bustling High Street, many hidden alleyways and weekly markets. Cardinal Wolsey was ordained in St Mary’s church and legend has it that Merlin was buried in the college grounds!
